Jerrold Buckaloo, MD, FAAOS
Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon
Originally from Tennessee, Dr. Buckaloo received his undergraduate education at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee, College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee
He completed an internship and orthopaedic residency at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Ga., where he served as chief resident. Dr. Buckaloo completed a fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina
He comes to Orangeburg from Charleston, South Carolina, where he was in private practice for ten years. Previously, he was in private practice for two years in Georgia.
Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Buckaloo completed further specialty training in hand surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Hand Surgery from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has extensive experience in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery as well as general orthopaedics, fracture care and sports medicine.
A fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Buckaloo is also a member of the South Carolina Orthopaedic Society and the Medical Society of South Carolina.
